Elven Lacryment is BACK! [Sep. 8th, 2006|11:07 am]

Elven Lacryment is back with Issue 2: Drinking Games!

In honour of our return, September is "Mock ShadowWolf Month". You see, I found a binder full of old drawings. They will be used for vote incentives. However, they will not go into the art gallery. If you want to see the horror, this is your only chance.

This Sunday, Jeremy Kayes and I will be at the Vancouver Comicon at Heritage Hall from 11am till 5pm. Stop by maybe? I'll be selling non-EL related prints, but there'll be EL related stuff in my portfolio.

Hey Guys! I think I may have posted here before... But I'm doing it again because where it used to be subscribers only, it's now free!

It's the tale of a retired adventurer's journey into the heart of a cursed land to save her true love, Fair Yarrow, from an uncertain fate. I hope you guys will take a look! Feel free to drop me a line and tell me what you think!

EDIT:
HAHA! How about putting that URL in there...DUH.

The comic The Elves of Iax is in it's pre-order stage. I strongly suggest you consider buying a copy. Posters and comics are available and all purchases go to the cost of self-publishing. So go get your grubby li'l nubbies on your very own copy of The Elves of Iax.

New To LJ -- Hatbag [Jun. 14th, 2006|02:37 pm]
Comickaze Webcomic Community

hatbag
We've finally gotten around to setting up an LJ site for our webcomic, hatbag. The strip's progenitor has been around on-and-off (well, mostly off) for 12 years, but about a year and a half ago we launched a new incarnation. We're a weekly strip published on Thursday. It follows two old college buddies as they adapt to adult life, with a somewhat geeky take on growing up.

We'd love for everyone to come check it out, and we hope you enjoy.

SplurdNet - Online Comic Database. [May. 25th, 2006|09:26 am]
Comickaze Webcomic Community

anarchicq
Back in 2003, there was a database for webcomic creators to list their webcomics for promotion and for readers to find webcomics to entertain them. This project was called SplurdLink.

Eventually SplurdLink fell to the wayside so that its creator could focus on other endeavours.

SplurdLink is now SplurdNet, a comprihensive Online Comic Database to find and promote webcomics, and it now reborn and taking submissions.

If you're comic was previously on SplurdLink, please reactivate your account here. If you're new to SplurdNet, please register here.

Happy promoting!

Hello, I've just joined this community in hopes of finding some more fun webcomics to read, as well as perhaps getting some more readers for mine!

I am the co-creator of the webcomic Framed! Art on the Run, which is some cross of a gag-a-day and a plot-based comic. So far, we have 14 comics, and we update in full color twice a week (Wed/Sun). The storyline follows a pair of art thieves who somehow manage to be extremely successful dispite their bumblings, strange allies, and even stranger enemies.

The site is still under construction, but the comic pages are basically unaffected by this- just some of the buttons (like "About the Authors") don't work. Most of them do, though, and the site is getting better quickly. We also have a forum, while though not prettified yet, is otherwise up-and-running, and we'd really like to get some feedback on our work! =D Thanks for reading!

Found this place while syndicating comickaze_feed.

Figured I'd toss out an ad for my own comic, a one-cell weekly that most people just don't "get", most of the time (including me). So, er, if you like to be confused? And sometimes amused...

Anything But Something, a webcomic following the antics, virtual or otherwise, of a group of friends has started updating again after a winter break hiatus. Please stop on by, enjoy the funny and let us know what you think. For those of who would rather not venture out of the domain of Live Journal, we have one those too. All new readers and feedback welcome!
